Townsville’s first MECCA is opening at Townsville Shopping Centre, and we’ve teamed up with Hit FM and Triple M to make the countdown and opening morning even bigger.

MECCA is opening its first Townsville store at Townsville Shopping Centre on Friday 11 September at 9am.

To celebrate, we’re partnering with Hit FM and Triple M to give 10 Townsville locals the chance to be part of an unforgettable opening morning.

Across the two stations, two winners will each receive $1,000 to spend inside MECCA in just 10 minutes before the doors officially open.

We’re teaming up with Triple M’s What You Need community campaign, taking the MECCA celebration out into Townsville through Triple M’s live outside broadcasts.

Triple M will select five finalists, with one lucky local winning $1,000 to spend inside MECCA in just 10 minutes before the store officially opens.

Meet the First 10.

Across Hit FM and Triple M, 10 finalists will be part of MECCA’s opening morning: two $1,000 winners and eight runners up.

Two $1,000 winners

One Hit FM winner and one Triple M winner each receive $1,000 to spend in 10 minutes inside MECCA before opening.

Eight runners up

Four runners up from each station receive priority positions at the front of the MECCA opening queue.

Red carpet

The First 10 will be welcomed into a dedicated red carpeted, bollarded priority area at the front of the MECCA queue.

Beauty Loop

Finalists will receive a special MECCA Beauty Loop box as part of their opening morning experience.
